Your Norcal Boudoir Expert. You did it and took that nerve wracking first step and booked your boudoir photoshoot! Yay!! You've sent the message, secured your date, and finally on your way to a pampering boudoir experience that will leave you feeling like an incredible, renewed, supercharged woman!
This guide will walk you through what your day will look like from start to finish and how to prep ahead of time.

Presession Prep Guide
1. Eat - Please ensure you eat a satisfying meal before your session and stay well-hydrated. You'll be engaging in a 5+ hour experience that requires plenty of energy.
2. Hydrate -In the days leading up to your session, make an effort to drink ample water. Well-hydrated skin radiates beauty.
3. Limber up -Believe it or not, you may experience some muscle soreness, so consider stretching beforehand.
4. Hair Care -Wash your hair the night before your session and allow it to air-dry naturally. Avoid straightening if possible, and please don't arrive with wet or dirty hair. If you plan to style your hair yourself, ensure it's ready upon arrival.
5. Clean Face -Cleanse your face before your session. You can apply moisturizer, but please refrain from using makeup.
6. Sun Care -Steer clear of spray tanning and self-tanning lotions for 3-5 days prior to your session. Avoid heavy sun exposure to prevent sunburn and uneven skin tones.
7. Loose Clothes -Wear loose-fitting clothing 2-3 hours before your session to prevent any lines on your skin.
8. Accessories -Bring along your choice of shoes and any desired jewelry, earrings, bracelets, rings or whatever you’d like in your photos.
9. Visuals -If you have specific pose or makeup ideas, feel free to share screenshots with us. It's not mandatory but can help us tailor the session to your preferences.
10. Outfits -Bring 1-2 outfits that you love or just a simple bra and panty set just in case. Some ladies like to include something of their partners like a hat, boots, their favorite shirt, uniforms... not necessary but adds a personal touch.
11. Nails and Toes -Tidy up your finger nails and toe nails. We don’t get too many close up shots but detail shots capture everything.
12. Gratitude Matters -Don’t forget to show your appreciation by tipping your stylist and masseuse.
Hair and Makeup
We kick off your boudoir session with some serious pampering, courtesy of our fantastic hair and makeup wizard Krista Schafer. She is truly one-of-a-kind, with skills and talents that are off the charts.
Whether you've got a specific look in mind that you're aiming for or if you're drawing a blank on your desired style, fear not, she's got you! Krista has been in the beauty industry for 15+ years and has perfected her talent for all skin and hair types. She knows what will look best for you or match your dream look no problem.
Lingerie Closet
Once you've indulged in some well-deserved pampering and are radiating some confidence, it's time for the next exciting part – outfit selection! We'll take a close look at the wardrobe you've brought along and explore the Client Closet, which offers an extensive range of sizes from XS to 4X and a variety of lingerie styles to cater to your unique taste and comfort.
Whether you lean towards some this sweet and simple, or more on the kinky side, you’ve got options that will make you feel stunning, regardless of your size or style preference. Together, we'll curate the perfect outfit lineup, choosing outfits and colors that complement each scene setup. Our goal is to ensure you feel incredibly beautiful in every single pose throughout your boudoir session. Your confidence and comfort are our top priorities, and we're here to make your experience unforgettable!
What's Next?
In Studio Photoshoots Only: After we finish your photoshoot,
I'll send you off for a well-deserved break. Grab some lunch or indulge in a relaxing massage or facial with your chosen package. Meanwhile, I'll dive into your images, narrowing down the best choices.
When you return, we'll create a "favorites" folder and select your final images for your Personal Mobile App, Custom Album, and Prints per package choice. Yes, you get to choose your photos on the same day!
When you choose an album package and you’ve picked your favorites, we start customizing your album by choosing the cover for your album! You have over 50 cover options and to make your album truly unique. You can choose to add Acrylic Cover, Gilding and Foil Stamping with your favorite saying, anniversary, date, your name… The possibilities are endless!
Once all the details are squared away, you are free to leave your boudoir sessions feeling AMAZING! I get your images finalized for your Mobile App within 48 hours and sent over. With albums I will send you a short video of your album layout before I send out for printing. Once approved, your album is typically printed and shipped within 48-72 hours. Metal prints may take up to 4 days, but in most cases, you'll have all your products within 10 days from your session date!!
